Handan Iron and Steel – Energy-Saving Retrofit Project for the Drying Process at the Second Air Compressor Station
·The renovation project of the No. 2 Air Compressor Station at Handan Steel’s Energy Center recovers waste heat from the third-stage cooler of the centrifugal air compressor. This recovered heat is used to regenerate the desiccant in a newly installed BYYL‑series zero‑air‑consumption, heat‑regenerated desiccant dryer. As a result, stable, dry compressed air is produced while addressing the issues of high energy consumption and frequent condensate formation in the compressed‑air pipeline network during winter—problems that seriously compromise the safe operation of the pipeline system and the gas‑supply safety of downstream processes.
 
Chengde Iron & Steel – Overhaul of Air Compressors at the Coking Air Compressor Station
·At the existing air‑compression station of Chengde Iron & Steel, high maintenance costs—particularly the expensive procurement of wear parts and spare components, coupled with costly labor for manufacturer service personnel—have resulted in inadequate preventive maintenance, leading to equipment operating under suboptimal conditions. For instance, two units suffer from cooler malfunctions, while several others exhibit issues such as sensor aging, increased vibration, and pipeline corrosion. Leveraging years of expertise in fluid‑handling systems, along with a team of specialists and established supply channels for wear parts and spares, Bangye Technology undertook the overhaul of the coking‑plant air compressors at a price below the client’s expectations. Following on‑site maintenance, commissioning, and trial runs, the project achieved the desired performance outcomes.
